Our Story

Winged Waves was born from that journey of healing.
It’s more than a jewelry brand — it’s a symbol of freedom. We create meaningful pieces that honor faith without fear, beauty without guilt, and connection without shame.
Each piece carries a story — for those who believe, and for those still finding their way. And for me, it’s also a bridge — a way to connect deeply with others who carry their own stories of struggle, healing, and hope. If you’ve ever felt silenced, unseen, or misunderstood — you are not alone. You are welcome here.
But my story starts long before Winged Waves.
I’m Brazilian, and I was raised in a deeply religious environment — not the kind filled with grace and peace, but one bound by fear and strict rules. My parents were incredibly loving, doing their best with what they had been taught. But the system around us often confused control with holiness, and over time, it broke parts of me.
For a while, I walked away from God, believing He was part of the pain. But with time, I came to understand something beautiful: it wasn’t Him. It was people — it was religion misused. Eventually, I discovered a God I hadn’t known before — one who is gentle, merciful, and overflowing with love.
As a child, I always adored jewelry — necklaces and bracelets made me feel alive and expressive. But I wasn’t allowed to wear them. They were seen as vain or sinful — as if beauty and faith couldn’t coexist. That belief silenced a part of who I was.
Today, Winged Waves is my way of reclaiming that voice — and helping others do the same. Every piece is crafted with intention, to reflect the freedom I found and to inspire it in others.
